In the city of Cartagena, Colombia, I found colorful surprises around every corner. However few surprises were as delightful as this narrow street canopied with beautiful and vibrant umbrellas. I'm not sure if they were a part of a special occasion, or if they are always displayed in this manner - but it made my heart happy to see them each day that we explored that wonderful, historical city.
