Artist's Description
The Prince of Wales Hotel was built as an extension to the chain of hotels and chalets built and operated by the Great Northern Railway in Glacier National Park, Montana. The hotel is actually just across the border, in Alberta, Canada - within the Glacier/Waterton International Peace Park. I don't know why the teepee was there, but I loved what it added to the scene. We were fortunate to stay in this magical place. There is nothing in the world like opening the windows wide, looking out at the majestic scenery with the cold wind rushing in off the water in the heat of August. It's a bit of heaven.
