In 1946 Lady Astor of England called Savannah "a beautiful woman with a dirty face." That is exactly how I feel about this Savannah home - and many of the homes in Savannah. I love the mix of ornate details and decay. Savannah is filled with examples of that beautiful eroding elegance that most American cities lack.
