Sedona, Arizona is 1/2 rugged wilderness, 1/2 resort. It is intensely spiritual - some even say sacred. Many believe Sedona has several vortexes (areas of concentrated energy rising from the earth), making Sedona a highly sought-after spiritual and metaphysical destination.
Sedona's combination of scenic beauty and mysticism draws throngs of tourists year-round. Which takes me to my one "complaint", if you can call it that. Although Sedona maintains a small town charm, it has definitely been discovered. My biggest challenge was finding a place of complete solitude to experience her magic. However, as you can see, I did succeed in doing just that. It was a really windy day and I like how the trees show movement, since I did a long exposure to smooth out the water.
