On the Dominican Republic, in an area called the Samana Peninsula, is a secluded beach that is the most beautiful and pristine that I have ever seen anywhere in the world. It is not easily accessible, and is in an area of the country that is not highly traveled, so it is mostly deserted. The sand and sea are perfection. I was fortunate enough to be there during the right time of day to capture this pristine shadow an unseen palm tree. I also loved the natural lines created by the mountains, the changing aqua colors in the sea, and the thin white foam of the water gently lapping the beach. Paradise!
