Artist's Description
This is the fishing pier on Tybee Island, Georgia - just a few miles outside Savannah.
I took this image at sunrise on a calm summer day. I used a neutral density filter in order to get a long enough exposure to make the water look smooth and misty. Some of the waves were running a bit crosswise - parallel to the shore - which gave a nice line of blurry water movement and added interest to the scene.
