This is a classic view within Zion National Park, Utah. It's one of the most beautiful vistas in the park and it's extremely easy to access. It's one of the first views one sees after entering the park from the south side, close to Springdale.
I looked up the definition of Zion, just out of curiosity. To me the word has always been synonymous with Jerusalem, and I know in this case it had something to do with the early Mormon settlers, but I came across this: an imaginary place considered to be perfect or ideal. Yes! I love that. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Zion. :)
