The squares in Savannah have a mysterious, haunted feeling at night. You can almost feel spirits from her historical past all around you. It is especially beautiful after a rain, when the air is heavy and balmy, and the wonderful wet brick walkways reflect the golden light from the ornate antique lamp posts.
This is Lafayette Square, just one of twenty-two such beauties.
