Description
How would you like to wake up to that view out your window? That used to be possible, many years ago. This is the view out one of the windows of what are called The Cabins at Valley Of Fire State Park, not far from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Valley of Fire became Nevada's first State Park in 1935. The three cabins were built by the Civil Conservation Corps to house campers and visitors to the park. They are built out of native sandstone and are now being preserved to commemorate the work of the CCC in Nevada. They are really quite remarkable! And I find the view to be nothing short of enchanting.
