Description
My husband and I were leaving Glacier Park and suddenly we came upon this amazing scene. There was no shoulder on the road, so he had to drop me off, go find a turn-around and come back and get me. I got out, he took off, and I was engulfed instantly in a thicker cloud of mosquitoes than I had ever experienced - anywhere! Ever! It was brutal. Then I had to stand like a statue to get the long-exposure shot while being bit by dozens of those little... pests... while they sucked the blood out of my hands, arms, legs neck and face! So I hope you enjoy this image and it was all worth it!

Your story is SO TRUE!!!!! While I worked at St Mary (a short distance from this scene), we had an invasion of mosquitos for about a week... then they were gone. But while they were there it was truly BRUTAL!!!! Then there were none... Fantastic photo, and YES it was worth it!! :))) F/V
